By accessing or using HealthMap (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

HealthMap is a disease outbreak tracking and intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available data from government and health organizations including the CDC, WHO, and disease.sh. The Service displays this data on interactive maps and sends optional alerts to registered users.

The information provided by HealthMap is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider or your local public health authority with any questions you have regarding a medical condition or public health concern. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on HealthMap.

Data Accuracy

HealthMap relies on third-party data sources that may contain errors, delays, or gaps. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any disease data displayed. Do not make health or safety decisions based solely on data from this Service.

User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may not share your account with others or use another person’s account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service at a rate that burdens our infrastructure.
• Use the Service to spread misinformation, cause public panic, or for any purpose that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent security measures, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Use automated means to create accounts or submit contact forms.

Intellectual Property

The HealthMap brand, logo, design, and original content are the property of HealthMap Online. Disease data sourced from public health organizations remains the property of those respective organizations and is subject to their terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealthMap Online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on disease data, interruption of service, or unauthorized access to your account. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
